Nadene Jennings
Nadene Jennings Art Teacher and Head of IT Integration - American Academy in Al Mizhar. Nadene has worked as a teacher in Dubai for 14 years. Her teaching experience includes working in various international schools in Malawi, South Africa, U.K. and U.A.E. She has worked in schools with South African, British and American Curricula and taught in Grades 1-6 as a class teacher, PE and Art specialist throughout her career which has also seen her take on management positions such as KS 1 Co-ordinator and Head of IT Integration. She currently teaches art at AAM, Taaleem where she passionately works at advancing the curriculum to include authentic learning tasks through the integration of technology and other tasks which encourage student collaboration. Nadene is a qualified Apple Development Consultant and her role as IT Integration Coach sees here developing ideas and mentoring teachers and students in using innovative pedagogy, online learning communities and other online tools, apps and devices which aid learning.
